If you have heart disease family history, you will have the higher risk of cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. In this case, if you have low risk, you can set your target with 155 cholesterols. If you have high risk, you can target with 70 LDL cholesterol amount.



  1. Consider Medication
The next tip to lower bad cholesterol is medication. This can also be one of the ways to lower cholesterol effectively and safely. However, you have a high risk of cholesterol; you should also consume drugs to lower the cholesterol. There are many types of this medication such as fibrates, bile acid resins, statin, and niacin. The most common medication used by most people is statin that can lower LDL cholesterol up to 50%.


  1. Get Moving
The simplest way to reduce LDL bad cholesterol is to get moving. This will relate to your daily activities. If you are outside worker, it will be helpful. However, if you are an employee who sits all day in front of the computer, you have to use your free time and break time to move as often as possible. This will raise your HDL cholesterol so that it will help to protect from LDL cholesterol.


  1. Avoid Cholesterol and Saturated Fats
Then, you can also lower your cholesterol by avoiding the cholesterol and saturated fats. It will relate to the foods that you consume. So, it will be better to replace the saturated fat foods with low cholesterol oil such as fish, lard, margarine, butter, vegetable oil, olive oil, etc. Those are the tips to lower LDL cholesterol.
